The Government of Cantabria has approved 225 aids for 200,000 euros for the activity of SMEs and the self-employed affected by the coronavirus.
In this way, since this measure was launched, included in the Santander shock plan, the City Council has already granted 338 grants for a total of 321,874 euros.
Among the aid proposed by the government of Cantabria we have what is considered a 'resistance check', which is a bonus that ranges between 150 and 300 euros per week depending on the situation of the self-employed or if they have workers under their care.
Its duration will be during the time that it is in force in the Alarm State and to qualify for it, a series of requirements must be met, such as maintaining the average of the workforce and restarting its activity in the 10 days following the closing of its business .

- Self-employed workers with people who are in their charge.
- Self-employed partners of any type of company regardless of its legal form.
- Self-employed workers in the region who have chosen to join an alternative social security mutual fund established by the Professional Associations, as established in the Additional Provisions Eighteenth and Nineteenth of the revised text of the General Law of Social Security, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 8/2015, of October 30.
The amount of the subsidy will consist of an amount of 286 euros.
