Self-employed aids coronavirus Galicia
In the context of the current crisis caused by COVID-19, the action of the Xunta de Galicia goes beyond the adoption of preventive measures in public health. The strong impact of the coronavirus in all areas (social, economic, labor, educational ...) requires the creation of new specific lines of help, or modifications to existing ones, in order to minimize the negative consequences of the pandemic on the population and the different sectors affected.

The end of the COVID-19 Scanning Check Program.
On September 30, the Xunta de Galicia closed the call for the COVID-19 Digitization Check Program aimed at micro-businesses in Galicia. The non-refundable grant covers projects for the effective implementation of digital technologies between 1,500 euros and 12,000 euros of expenditure .
DISPOSAL CHECKS
The Xunta announces these grants (dixitalization checks) in a non-competitive concurrence regime, grants for projects that promote the adaptation of the beneficiaries to the situation created by COVID-19 through the effective implementation of digital technologies.

COVID Trackers
The Igape announces these aids in a competitive competition regime whose purpose is to subsidize investment projects carried out by Galician companies that allow the manufacture of products related to Covid-19.
Who can benefit : SMEs and freelancers regardless of their legal form. The project must be carried out in a work center located in Galicia.
LOANS GUARANTEED TO SUPPORT SMES (REAVAL COVID-19)
Long-term loans for liquidity of SMEs and the self-employed.
Who can benefit : SMEs with tax domicile and economic activity in Galicia, as well as individuals, joint ventures, civil companies and any other without legal personality that meets the requirements.
PYMES AND SELF-EMPLOYED ICO GUARANTEES
To facilitate the maintenance of employment and alleviate the economic effects of COVID-19, this line of guarantees aims to cover new loans and other financing modalities and renewals granted by financial entities to companies and the self-employed to meet the financing needs derived , among others, of salary payments, invoices, working capital needs or other liquidity needs, including those derived from expiration of financial or tax obligations.
Who can benefit: Companies and freelancers that have a registered office in Spain and have been affected by the economic effects of the pandemic provided that:
- Loans and operations have been formalized or renewed after March 17, 2020.
- Not being in a situation of delinquency in the consultation of the files of the Central Risk Information Center of the Bank of Spain (CIRBE) at December 31, 2019.
- Borrowers are not subject to bankruptcy proceedings as of March 17, 2020.
OTHER AIDS FROM THE XUNTA
The Xunta, through the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Industry, has opened other lines of aid and subsidies to alleviate the effects of the pandemic on companies. These are some of the latest approved and published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG).
- The Igape has approved the regulatory bases of the aid to the projects of the Galician retail stores whose objective is to contribute to the reactivation of the Galician commerce, as published in the DOG.
- Also through Igape, an item has been set up for aid to projects of Galician companies to guarantee job security.
- The DOG also published, on July 6, the announcement of the Autonomous Check We Follow Forward. The measure has a budget of 16 million euros and will offer financing of 100%, up to a limit of 1800 euros, of the cost of certain current expenses.
