The Xunta of Galicia advanced with a block of measures of the Social Recovery Plan, with a contribution of 38 million euros for the most vulnerable households due to the coronavirus.
Thirty thousand families will receive immediate help for basic necessities. The Xunta will finance the ‘daily menu’ for another 20,000 people and will extend the ‘Xantar na casa’.

The rental aid convened by the Xunta de Galicia to support people in situations of vulnerability as a result of the coronavirus.
Applications will be submitted preferably by telematic means through the electronic headquarters of the Xunta de Galicia due to the coronavirus.
People who have a rental contract for their habitual residence who are in a situation of vulnerability as a result of being unemployed, ERTE or reduced working hours as a result of Covid-19 may benefit from these rental aid

The requirements to be eligible for this aid are:
- Housing rental contract.
- Bank statements or certificates certifying the payment of the last three monthly installments of the contract rent prior to the first month for which the aid is requested.
- Documentation accrediting the bank account number of the lessor, if not included in the two previous documents.
- If applicable, request for temporary financing aid (ICO loan).
- Responsible declaration of the members of the family unit.
- Documentation proving the income of the applicant and the family unit corresponding to the month prior to the presentation of the application.

The so-called "Care Bonus" will benefit 36,000 families and will be in force while the centers are closed.
