Family aids Canarias coronavirus
The Government of the Canary Islands has approved a series of aid aimed at SMEs due to the crisis caused by the coronavirus. The objective of these aid is to alleviate the consequences of the coronavirus crisis.
The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife together with the Government of the Canary Islands has established a series of grants of 11 million euros to complete the extraordinary benefit of the Government of Spain to self-employed workers who have ceased their activity.
These aids are intended for natural or legal persons, commercial companies, communities of assets, civil companies or other economic entities without legal personality, legally constituted that carry out business activities and self-employed persons or micro-companies.
The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council has also opened a line of specific aid for the taxi sector, which is endowed with 1 million euros.
Requirements to apply for rental aid in the Canary Islands
- That the company has ceased its activity during the advance of the situation caused by the coronavirus.
- Be self-employed.
- That they have reactivated their activity after the new measures.
