SME grants Extremadura coronavirus

The Junta de Extremadura launches the “Reactiva Extremadura” aid lines regulated in Decree-Law 14/2020, of July 22.

Its purpose is to support operating and current expenses that beneficiary entities have in a context due to the COVID-19 pandemic to meet their liquidity needs; and activate demand through discounts to increase trade and increase sales of SMEs, which will help generate employment and wealth in the region.

Therefore, the direct granting of subsidies is established for SMEs and the self-employed in Extremadura who carry out the sale of the goods or products that are included in the four aid programs for the activity of the demand in the retail trade:

Program I, for textiles and footwear , reaches a total of 1.5 million euros, and sets an aid of 1,000 euros per beneficiary person and establishment.

Program II is intended for furniture and contemplates a fixed aid of 2,000 euros per beneficiary / establishment, with a total credit of 500,000 euros.

As for program III , it is aimed at activating demand for the acquisition of highly energy-efficient household appliances , endowed with 1.5 million euros, a fixed aid of 6,000 euros per establishment.

Finally, three million euros are allocated in aid to the IV program for the improvement of energy efficiency and housing accessibility , with a fixed aid of 6,000 euros per establishment /beneficiary.

The aid will consist of a subsidy of 100% of the eligible expenses, excluding VAT, by direct concession until credit is exhausted.

These measures are endowed with a total budget of 6.5 million euros in aid to commercial establishments. The beneficiary companies must carry out discounts on the final price (VAT excluded) of the goods and / or products that are established in each of the aid programs.

Eligible Expenses

The expenses in the acquisition of the product stock and the current expenses directly related to the commercial establishment object of the subsidy may be objects of subsidy.

Likewise, the fungible and investment expenses related to Covid-19 and expenses in works of conditioning of spaces to maintain safety distances that are not part of the investments in equipment.
