SME aids Melilla coronavirus
The Melilla Project Board of Directors has approved a new call for aid to SMEs, endowed with € 500,000, which joins the battery of aid that the public society makes available to companies in Melilla.
Next Wednesday, October 28, the application period for a new aid scheme for micro-enterprises opens.
These grants are intended for companies from Melilla that employ less than 10 workers and whose business volume does not exceed two million euros per year, in order to facilitate their expansion, modernization and / or diversification.
To finance it, Proyecto Melilla, S.A. It has € 500,000, of which each company may receive up to a maximum of € 30,000 per project, with 40% of the investment being the maximum eligible limit.
It may be subsidized, among others, expenses for civil works, equipment, transport elements, furniture and computer equipment.
These grants may be submitted electronically, through the electronic headquarters of the website www.melilla.es, for which it will be necessary to be in possession of an electronic certificate, and in person at the offices of the public company, upon request. appointment, or in the electronic office of the web www.melilla.es.
Beneficiaries
Micro-enterprises will be beneficiaries of this type of aid, in accordance with the provisions of article 4.1.C), according to the definition established in Annex I of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014, of June 17, 2014, declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the common market in application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty; published in DOUE L187 of June 26, 2014.
Likewise, SMEs (Microenterprises) must comply with the calculation of numbers and limits in the case of associated or related companies as provided in sections 2 and 3 of article 3 of Annex I of Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014 of the Commission, of June 17, 2014, declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the common market in application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty; published in DOUE L187 of June 26, 2014.
It will also be understood as SMEs (Microenterprises), those that, complying with the above, have their own legal personality, even those that, as is the case of Communities of Assets, groups, etc., comply with the provisions of Article 11 of the General Subsidies Law, Law 38/2003 of November 17.
Excluding those indicated in section 2 of the fourth point of the Order of the Ministry of Economy and Social Policies No. 2020004259 dated October 21, 2020.
